plenty of coffee,
good music (we find radio 2 works best here)
and 4 day weeks.
The bottom line is, you can’t make the best product possible if your staff aren’t happy. That’s the number 1 goal, other than keeping customers happy.
But that’s just it, the whole system is a trickle down effect.
If your team isn’t happy then the product they make reflects that. If they aren’t enthusiastic about what they make, then your customers won’t be enthusiastic.
Keep your team happy, you’ll keep your customers happy. That’s how you make a great product, that’s how you become the best version of yourself.
This applies to every aspect of your business. Marketing, designers, accounts, manufacturers, customer service, cleaners etc. The whole system needs to be working perfectly to ensure that what you’re giving to the world stands out.
So, go out there, get enough coffee, make the hours work and turn the music up.
